Getting to Seoul World Cup Stadium for a concert
서울월드컵경기장 가는 길 — 역 이름이 경기장 이름과 같습니다
The stadium in Sangam that stadium-scale tours play, read off the Seoul Facilities Corporation's own pages: the line and exit, the buses and which stop, and which of the two car parks is the one that discounts.

Real values, and a real warning: the name does not match the fan club record. That is the failure these guides exist to prevent.
Scope 적용 범위
Covers reaching Seoul World Cup Stadium in Mapo-gu, from the operator's own transport and parking pages. It does not cover which gate admits you, when doors open, or what you may carry in: those are the promoter's and are set per show, and no page here can tell you them in advance.
Checked against official sources 출처 기준 확인
Every step below comes from the platform's own help pages, the official announcement for a show, or press reporting — each one linked at the bottom of this page with the date it was read. This is the official procedure as the platforms stated it on 2026-10-24.
It is not a first-hand account and does not claim to be: nobody on this site has created an account and gone through this flow personally. That is the difference between this page and a verified one, and it is why this page expires sooner — after 90 days it stops making the claim by itself rather than waiting for anyone to notice.
Check the official announcement for your specific show before acting on any step.
This is the 66,704-seat stadium at Sangam, and the operator says in its own words that it opens for cultural events as well as football. A stadium show there is the largest room a K-pop tour plays in Seoul.
The useful thing about getting to it is that the subway station is named after the stadium, which removes the guesswork that the Gocheok guide spends a step on. The part worth reading is which exit, which bus stop, and the car park trap.
Step by step
단계별 절차
ㄱ Step 01
Line 6 to 월드컵경기장역, and leave by exit 2
2 minutesThe station carries the stadium's name, so there is no station-choosing problem here. The operator names exit 2 specifically. Seoul World Cup Stadium is at 서울특별시 마포구 월드컵로 240, and the station sits beside it rather than a walk away.
Where this breaks
The operator's own website has a second 찾아오시는 길 page under its corporate section, and that one is the Seoul Facilities Corporation's head office in Seongdong-gu, reached from 용두역 on line 2. It is about ten kilometres from the stadium. Read the address before you trust a directions page on a venue's site.
World Cup Stadium seatsOnce inside, the block name tells you which side of the stadium you are on.
ㄴ Step 02
By bus, aim for the west-side stop
2 minutesThe operator lists 760, 710 and 571 as trunk routes, 7019 and 7715 as branch routes, 마포08 as the local circular and 9711 as the wide-area coach. It singles out 710, 7019 and 7715 as the fastest arrival, set down at the 월드컵경기장 서측 stop, numbered 14-105.
Where this breaks
A bus number alone is not enough on a concert night. The same route has stops on more than one side of a stadium this size, and the operator names the west-side stop for a reason.
ㄷ Step 03
If you drive, the two car parks are not equivalent
1 minuteThere are two: the stadium's own, on the west side, with 528 spaces, and the Homeplus car park on the east side, with 767. The operator states plainly that the reductions it publishes do not apply at the Homeplus one. The larger car park is the one that does not discount.
Where this breaks
Arriving by car at a 66,704-seat venue is the slowest way in and out on a show night, whichever side you park on. The subway station is named after the building.
ㄹ Step 04
Everything about the night itself is the promoter's
1 minuteWhich gate admits you, when doors open, what you may carry in and how the floor is laid out are set per show and are not on the venue's pages. The operator publishes the building; the promoter publishes the event. Your ticket and the promoter's notice are the authority on all of it.
Mobile ticketWhat you actually present at the gate, and what has to match.
Questions people ask
자주 나오는 질문
Is Seoul World Cup Stadium the same as Gocheok Sky Dome?
No. They are different buildings in different districts, run by the same operator. Gocheok is an indoor dome in Guro-gu seating about 16,600; the World Cup Stadium is an open-air stadium in Mapo-gu seating 66,704. The numbering systems are different too, which is why each has its own page here.
Which exit should I use?
Exit 2 of 월드컵경기장역 on line 6, which is the exit the operator names on its own directions page. It does not publish a walking time, so this page does not invent one.
Can I park at the stadium?
Yes, on the west side, where there are 528 spaces. The Homeplus car park on the east side has 767, and the operator states that its published reductions do not apply there.
